Wanted - Thinkers and Experts in Residence

Applications for 2013 Round 1 funding for the Deakin University Thinkers/Experts in Residence program are now open.

The Thinkers/Experts in Residence program is an initiative aimed at stimulating innovative research, establishing global networks, creating a vibrant research culture and ensuring that Deakin keeps pace with exciting research developments and knowledge creation.

This program is designed to bring strategic and high level thinkers from industry or academia to Deakin University normally for a 3-6 month period. Thinkers will be leaders in industry or academia who also bring broad based understanding of their field in the context of future thinking.

Through this program they should be able to both advance their own research and make an important contribution to Deakin’s research culture.
