Disability@Deakin was very pleased to welcome Mr Bruce Bonyhady AM, inaugural Chairman of the Board of the National Disability Insurance Agency, when he delivered the keynote address at our recent Planning Day at the Waterfront Campus. In his address Mr Bonyhady talked about the goals of the NDIS, the fundamental differences between the NDIS and what has gone before, and provided a snapshot of the launch of the scheme.

Finally, Mr Bonyhady gave his views on the roles that Disability@Deakin might play in the future of the NDIA, which he described as 'the big social and economic reform of the 21st Century'.
