Four new scholarship opportunities exist for PhD candidates to pursue topics in population health in conjunction with major research projects.

Four new scholarship opportunities exist for PhD candidates to pursue topics in population health in conjunction with major research projects.

Potential topics include primary prevention of obesity and chronic disease, including systems-based and community-based prevention strategies, translating evidence into policy and action, designing and conducting natural experiments and mapping and tracking the epidemiology of heart disease and obesity in Australia.

Currently, up to four scholarships are available for high calibre candidates who wish to pursue a PhD in one of these areas.
