The recently appointed manager of Geelong’s National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Barwon trial site, Stephanie Gunn, has hailed its potential to become ‘part of a world-leading hub in innovation and service provision’.
Ms Gunn highlighted the potential for Deakin, working in partnership with agencies such as the TAC and WorkCover, to provide the necessary knowledge and expertise to develop a world-leading centre of excellence, dedicated to making positive impacts in the lives of people with disability.
The Barwon NDIA trial site is set to open in Geelong in April with an initial staff of 110.
