What is BOOST?

BOOST is an Architecture and Construction Management student-to-student mentor program developed, coordinated and offered by A+B to the students of the School.

BOOST Mentors will offer student-to-student support for those who sign up as Mentees for advice, assistance, guidance and friendship.

All students commencing their first year in the School of Architecture and Building at Deakin University are eligible to participate in BOOST.

So what will BOOST do for a me?

BOOST will be able to show you:

• How to prepare for design studio presentations
• How to manage and respond to criticism or feedback
• Where to purchase or secure model making materials
• How to cope with the stress of work load
• How to manage working in part time jobs
• What kind of student employment is available and appropriate/manageable?
• Developing team working skills
• Working in a multidiscipline environment.
