Jeremy Wu - Lecturer

Prior to moving to Australia in 2004 from Singapore, Jeremy practiced as a Project Manager at a Singapore government-owned corporation and a Quantity Surveying Manager at an Italian Façade Engineering Design-Build MNC. Some of the projects which he had been involved include The Esplanade-Theatres on the Bay (Singapore’s ‘opera house’), Civil Service College Complex (includes the International Monetary Fund-Singapore Training Institute Building, Institute of Policy Studies Building, Asia-Europe Foundation Building, and Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Building), One George Street (‘Eureka’), National Library Board Building, PSA Harbourfront Complexes, and MayBank Building. . Jeremy is currently in the final stages of his PhD studies (in the area of knowledge management, and the organizational and cross-project learning capabilities of construction organizations) at The University of Sydney. In the fourth quarter of 2005, Jeremy was awarded the following Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA) by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), the peak body representing and promoting the profession of project management in Australia and the Asia-Pacific Region: State Winner of the New South Wales Chapter Student Award, and the National Winner of the Student Award. The awards were in recognition, in particular of his PhD research, for outstanding achievement in the application of project management principles and techniques in the field of project management.
