Quickstep MOD QS5 composite manufacturing facility

The QS process uses a hot liquid filled mould to heat and cure the composite. The liquid having a much higher thermal conductivity than gas used in an autoclave cure results in cheaper and much faster cure cycles. The system uses a simple computer control which is easy to use and allows accurate control of the plant. Highly complex shapes can be achieved depending on tool configurations.
