Industry Focus

Deakin University’s postgraduate Architecture program has been developed using input from industry leaders to ensure the courses are relevant and up-todate with workplace demand. Continual consultation with industry ensures our program is designed to meet future industry requirements.

Our partnerships with local industry provide hands-on experience to our students, enabling us to train and develop graduates who are job ready. There will be regular guest lectures and project-based
activities involving members from industry and practice.

Deakin’s postgraduate Architecture program provides the second component of the academic studies required for professional registration for graduates of an accredited five-year program. Graduates are then eligible to complete the process for registration as an architect in Australia.

Deakin’s professional program is also recognised by many registration bodies internationally, however these are governed more on a country-to-country basis.
