
The Engineering Scholars Program enables high-achieving students to study Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering sequences with extra opportunities for paid industry internships or research placements and mentoring from our world-leading researchers - opportunities rarely given to undergraduate students in other universities.
A combination of hands-on and theoretical learning ensures Deakin Engineering graduates are career-ready. Engineering students have access to state-of-the-art technology, including the cutting-edge Haptics Lab and fully-equipped computer laboratories. Small classes and accessible lecturers help students get the best out of their university education and provide a friendly learning environment. They also work with, and learn from, leading researchers in the Geelong Technology Precinct.
Deakin is one of only two universities in Australia that offers its off-campus Engineering programs using an online service. Flexible study options enable courses to be completed in conjunction with career, family and travel plans.
