Students can gain a broad qualification or select a pathway into a specialised course in Computer Science and Software Development, Multimedia Technology, Games Design and Development, Web and Mobile Technologies or IT Security.
Students benefit from a hands-on approach to learning and all units include practical work using the most advanced technologies. Deakin students have access to top software in fully-equipped computer laboratories and the opportunity to take CISCO units for a head start towards CISCO certification and the Industry-Based Learning program enables undergraduates to work full-time in industry as part of their degree.
