Deakin's School of Engineering and Information Technology has collaborative education programs in place with a range of organisations. The key feature is that Deakin provides a custom-made study program to suit the educational needs of its partner organisation.
The University has established an alliance with KDU College in Malaysia to offer the Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Information Technology under licence and by distance education to students located in Kuala Lumpur or Penang .
