Partnerships

Deakin's School of Engineering and Information Technology has extensive partnerships with industry: through our Academic Advisory Boards to ensure what we teach is relevant and responsive to the changing needs of industry; collaborative research partnerships with a range of organisations; and educational partnerships with industry to provide a custom-made study program to suit the professional development needs of employees.

Our Academic Advisory Boards meet with us several times each year to review curriculum, discuss industry trends and opportunities for collaboration. Our current advisory boards comprise representatives from IBM, Telstra, Microsoft, ANZ, Computer Associates, Alcoa, Barwon Water, Shell, and many other engineering and IT companies.
