Radiotherapy has saved many lives in the last few decades. In the last decade, the optimization problem related to the treatment planning of radiotherapy has been an active research area for Mathematicians and Medical Physicists. The goals are to improve the accuracy and reduce the trial-and-error nature of the treatment plans, and to improve the computational efficiency of planning calculations. The aim of this workshop is to promote communications among researchers of various disciplines, and communications between researchers and practitioners by bringing together Mathematicians, Medical Physicists, and the industry stakeholders to enhance the exchange of knowledge, skills, and promote breakthroughs.
