HDR Research Excellence Awards 
Each year, FaST will offer between 1 and 4 HDR Research Excellence awards. Each award is valued at $2000 and may be used by the HDR candidate to further some aspect of their research program.

Best Publication by HDR Candidate Award
Each year FaST awards a $2000 prize to HDR candidate (or candidates if co authored by more than one HDR) for a publication published during candidature that is deemed to be the best publication in the year and worthy of the award as judged by the Faculty Research Management Committee or similar.
