| The aim of my research is to understand how animal behaviour is shaped by natural and sexual selection and the fitness consequences that these behaviours confer onto animals. I have an ongoing interest in using fish models to investigate proximate and ultimate questions in evolutionary biology, as is illustrated by my training so far. I am a passionate scientist with a clear focus on empirical model systems that can increase our understanding of how selection works in real animals. Research interests
