 The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment recognises the fundamental place of strong industry links in maintaining its international reputation in research, teaching and learning.

In today's complex, competitive and globalised environment, close liaison with industry is essential to promote robust curriculum development and to maximise its research opportunities. Partnerships information on School websites

Faculty international teaching partnership

The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment has established a teaching partnership with Royal Institute of Colombo (RIC). Under this course licensing agreement, RIC will offer the first two years of the Deakin Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of IT and the first year of the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree programs in Colombo. Students then transfer to Australia to complete their Deakin degree.
