Professor K. Baskaran has more than 30 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering. He has
worked as a Civil Engineer with various international civil engineering and building contractors for
four years before pursuing his academic career in Australia. His areas of expertise is in Sustainable
urban and industrial water management including water treatment technologies, water recovery and reuse,
and integrated water management. He also had several years of senior management roles.
