Research in Engineering

The School of Engineering is committed to the generation of fundamental knowledge, high quality research training and assisting industry advance technology to maintain a competitive edge. The School has three main research themes, Sustainable Infrastructure, Advanced Design and Manufacturing and Education. Researchers in the School work closely with the Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) and the Centre for Intelligent Systems Research (CISR) in areas of numerical modelling, material manufacturing and performance, and robotics and haptics.
