School Lecturer Awarded
School of Information Technology Lecturer, Mr Jason Wells, has been awarded a 2013 Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning.
This award was presented to Mr Wells in recognition of his dedication to enhancing on and off campus first year student learning experience through innovative blended and personalised teaching approaches in the field of information technology.
Mr Wells has been a Lecturer with the School of Information Technology for over 17 years and he has been involved in developing assessment software, new and innovative course resources and teaching a variety of front line first year units over three campuses. He has seen many changes during his time at Deakin University, including a significant increase in student numbers and the introduction of new technologies that have changed the way teaching is delivered.
