The 20th Annual RACI Research & Development Topics Conference will be hosted by Deakin University at its Waurn Ponds campus located in Geelong, Victoria (75 Pigdons Road Waurn Ponds, Victoria 3216).

Deakin University Waurn Ponds Campus is located on the western edge of Geelong, approx. 20 minutes from the CBD. It is the second-largest campus of the university and has recently undergone substantial refurbishments to the library and cafeteria as well as redevelopment of the central outdoor spaces.
The oral presentation sessions will be held in the lecture theatre ka3.403, while the poster session will be held at the Geelong Technology Precinct (building Na). Map

Traveling by taxi to Waurn Ponds will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and cost approximately $190.
Shuttle Bus - Gull Bus
A shuttle bus service runs from Melbourne Airport to Geelong approximately every hour. A single adult ticket costs $30 or $55 return.

The Sky Bus departs from Melbourne Airport to Southern Cross Station every 10 minutes. Tickets cost $17 one-way or $28 return. Trains depart from Southern Cross Station to Geelong approximately every hour.
Traveling by taxi to Waurn Ponds will take around 25-30 minutes and costs approximately $70.

Traveling by Train
V/Line trains operate regularly between Southern Cross Station in Melbourne and Geelong, stopping at Geelong station or South Geelong station. Connecting buses run from these train stations to the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus.

There are five bus services that run from Geelong CBD or railway station direct to the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus:
- Route 14 (Geelong City to Deakin University)
- Route 16 (Geelong City to Highton and Deakin University)
- Route 18* (Geelong Railway Station to Deakin University)
- Route 19 (Geelong Railway Station to Marshall and Deakin University)
- Route 20 (Geelong Railway Station to Grovedale and Deakin University).
* Note that this is a limited stop service operating Monday to Friday during University teaching periods only.

Traveling by taxi
Traveling by taxi from Geelong CBD will take around 15-20 minutes and costs in the vicinity of $25-$30.
Traveling by car
You can drive from Melbourne to Geelong via the West Gate and Princes freeways. Approximate commute time from Melbourne CBD to the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus is one hour.
*Please note if you are travelling via the Geelong Ring Road, the exit to take for Deakin University is the Colac/Grovedale exit.
