In addition our students have received awards from the Coltman Scholarship (given to a PhD student in recognition of outstanding achievement and ability within the student's particular area of research) and the Yakult Student Prize (presented annually to one student in each of the Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) and Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) courses who has demonstrated the best academic performance in Microbiology, and is planning to enter Honours in Biological Science).
