Wildlife and Conservation Biology
Our research focuses on understanding the processes that influence the distribution and abundance of plants and animals, and using this knowledge to enhance biodiversity conservation in Australia and globally. We undertake a diverse range of projects on the ecology of individual species and assemblages, disturbance processes, the consequences of human land-use and landscape change, and the social and policy dimensions of nature conservation. Our goal is to foster new conceptual understanding, while also making innovative contributions to applied conservation and natural resource management. Accordingly, we value active collaboration with a wide range of industry partners and agencies, locally and nationally; and with research colleagues elsewhere in Australia and internationally.
