The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment recognises the fundamental place of strong industry links and partnerships in maintaining both its domestic and international reputation in research, and teaching and learning.

Faculty international teaching partnership

The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment has established a teaching partnership with Royal Institute of Colombo (RIC). Under this course licensing agreement, RIC will offer the first two years of the Deakin Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of IT and the first year of the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree programs in Colombo. Students then transfer to Australia to complete their Deakin degree.
