Employed: Conservation Parks Ranger, Mornington Peninsula Shire.

‘I have recently completed my Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology). At uni I had the opportunity to pursue my own interests through a great variety of subjects, and to share ideas with like-minded people. I learnt from, and alongside, people with great passion and enthusiasm for their chosen field. Deakin is a great place to study and provides a very supportive environment in which to learn.

I currently work as a Conservation Parks Ranger for the Mornington Peninsula Shire. My role is very interesting and varies greatly from day to day. Weed, feral animal and fauna management, and community education, all form a large part of my role. One of the highlights is my involvement in the development of the shire’s feral animal management plan.’
