The Bennett Honours Scholarship

For a student enrolled in the Honours year of the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering or related combined degree. The scholarship is for outstanding students undertaking Honours projects in the field of study of fibres or textiles, which may be carried out at the Centre for Material and Fibre Innovation (Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds campus).

The scholarship valued at $7,000 may be awarded to an outstanding student who:

  • will be enrolling in the Honours year of the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering (including units SEJ441 and SEJ442), or related combined degree
  • will be undertaking a project relating to fibres or textiles
  • is an Australian citizen
  • has the highest weighted average mark (WAM) or equivalent of all applicants
  • makes application on the appropriate form and within the specified deadline
