Videoconferencing is a service available at Deakin which uses special audio visual equipment that enables people separated by distance to participate in lectures and meetings whilst having a sense that they are 'all in the room together'.
Some of the scenarios in which videoconferencing might be used include;
Deakin University has a number of high quality videoconferencing facilities, which are available for booking by university staff and students for teaching, learning, research and administrative purposes. These facilities are also made available on a limited commercial basis for events such as conferences which are held at Deakin.
