Endpoint details

Deakin has over 100 endpoints, all of which are Tandberg endpoints. Most endpoints in central meeting rooms and teaching spaces are the following model;

Table - Endpoint details for meeting rooms and teaching spaces
Attribute Value
Make Tandberg
Model 6000 MXP

Bandwidth

Up to 4mbps if the underlying network will carry it

Direct dial via IP
In most cases, yes but we prefer if you connect via the bridge.
If you need to direct dial an endpoint directly, please contact us to obtain the number.
Presenter pack fitted Yes

We recommend that the remote site be capable of at least 768kbps. Speeds lower than this are likely to give a poor videoconference experience.

Management system

Deakin uses Tandberg Management System (TMS) version 12.6.1 to schedule bookings and for system monitoring purposes.

Deakin University acknowledges the traditional land owners of present campus sites.
