McAfee VirusScan 8.7i is Deakin's Antivirus package for Windows, and is available for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 2003 Server and 2008 Server operating systems. After installing you can use the built in update feature or download the current SuperDAT File Update to ensure that your virus protection is up-to-date.
Note: This Antivirus software is available to STAFF ONLY, and can only be installed on University-owned machines. It cannot be used on home or personal computers.. Vista Users: Depending on the configuration of your system security, you may need to right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator". Product Support: McAfee does not provide extended support to Deakin employees.
