iPassConnect allows you to connect to the Deakin network from interstate or overseas for the cost of a phonecall to a local Internet Service Provider (instead of STD or IDD rates) plus a usage charge. The usage charge is billed back to your budget centre.
For wireless access, make sure your wireless network card is switched on before you install the iPassConnect software.
Note: Contrary to some advertising material, iPass wireless access from Australian McDonalds locations is no longer available. However, it should still be available for nominated McDonalds overseas locations.
