QuickTime and iTunes

QuickTime is a set of system components that let your computer handle a wide range of multimedia types, including sound, image and video files from various platforms, streaming audio and video, and 3D and VR objects. It also includes a plug-in for your web browser to view multimedia inline.

With iTunes for Windows and Mac OS X, you can subscribe to CloudDeakin podcasts, manage, update and watch them, and sync to your iPad, iPhone or iPod. Deakin Desktop users should install iTunes from the Software Catalogue.

Mac users: Mac OS X 10.7 and above include QuickTime X, a newer generation of QuickTime, preinstalled. QuickTime X is updated through Mac operating system updates. You can also download QuickTime Player 7 to work with legacy files.
