VLC Media Player is an open-source media player for many different file and media types. It can play DVDs, CDs, VCDs, MPEG-4, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC and many more. The Windows version installs a plug-in for your web browser to allow it to use VLC Media Player for playing online content.

IPTV
Is now directly configured and streamed from the network.
To view IPTV start VLC Media Player and select playlist from the view menu. When the playlist menu appears, click the Local Network arrow and select Network streams (SAP), TV stations should start to populate automatically.
Please be aware that live television streaming with VLC media player is only available from a wired network connection - that is, if the computer you are using is connected to the Deakin network using a cable, not wirelessly.
