Welcome to the Software Library

The Software Library provides students with access to software that you may need or find useful for your study at Deakin. These free software downloads are available at www.deakin.edu.au/software. Many of them are also packaged together in a convenient 'Software Essentials 09' DVD, which replaces the former Deakin Learning Toolkit.

The 'Software Essentials 09' DVD is included in the Deakin University induction packs provided to all 1st year off-campus, new off-campus and international students. All other students can pick up a free copy of the DVD from campus Libraries, DSA, DUSA or the Disability Resource Centre.

First year students should visit the Getting Started at Deakin website for a comprehensive range of information about adjusting to life at Deakin and making a great start to your studies.

All students can find up to date information about study support, IT and computing, student services, activities, student groups on the Current Students website. The Current Students website also contains links to key resources including DSO, STAR, webmail, student connect and the library.
