Microsoft Office XP/2004

Microsoft Office Installers

Downloading the small (2.0MB) Installation Activator provided here will enable you to install Microsoft Office on your computer. If you have a Phoenix PC or Mac, Microsoft Office should already be installed. You can update or repair Microsoft Office by opening the "Phoenix - Fix Mandatory Software" icon in your Start menu or Dock.

After installing Microsoft Office from this website, make sure you also download and install any updates for your version.

Note: This application is available to STAFF ONLY. Microsoft Office is only licensed for installation on university workstations and staff home computers.

Note: This installer for Microsoft Office requires a direct connection to the university network. The installation is approximately 500MB for Windows and 250MB for Mac, and would take several days to transfer over a modem, so is not practical for installation at home.

If you would prefer to install from a CD, you can order one at the Dimension Data website. Registration requires a full Deakin email address.

Note: To install either Office XP or Office X you MUST have Administrator access. Office CANNOT be installed with normal user privileges.

Microsoft Office Updates
