Deakin Windows Update Service
ITSD host a Windows Update Server in order to provide critical and recommended Windows Updates to all Windows workstations across the University. ITSD suggest these settings are applied to all non-phoenix, student residences, staff & students home workstations and personal workstations that may be used on the Deakin University network.
Simply download the small install settings application and double click the file. The Windows workstation should shortly respond with notification that Windows updates are available for download and installation. If these settings are no longer required, the disable settings utility is provided to easily restore Windows Updates from Microsoft. Any issues with this utility, please notify the IT Service Desk .
