Many users are new to computers and along with the challenge of learning how to use them, there is the challenge of becoming familiar with the keyboard and learning how to type efficently. And even experienced users often find they wish they could get beyond the old "hunt-and-peck" or two-finger typing techniques. eText is a typing tutor application which helps you to learn to touch-type through keyboard exercises and games, and includes a full user guide.
Note: This software is available only to Deakin staff and students. To use eText you must enter a serial number to register the application. To enter this information, click the Register button in eText's Welcome screen.
