Seeding Activity

Deakin has established strategies in a number of areas relating to the move toward being in the top third of Australian universities.  This 'seeding activity' provides a process to begin thinking about what the concept of Top Third means in each work area. 

The seeding activity (89KB) is designed:

1. To give staff an opportunity to begin to think at a personal level of what Top Third means to them and to begin the process of dialogue with their colleagues. 
2. For the project team to gather some very preliminary information across the University as to the themes which are emerging. 

The response template (53KB) provides a place to record the outcomes from the exercise.  Once completed, a copy of the response template should be sent to Helen O’Connor or Leanne Klahsen in the Human Resources Services Division.
