iLecture Recordings

iLecture recordings are normally accessed via DSO. The location of iLecture links varies from unit to unit.
e.g. Some units place the link in the Resources folder on the home page. If in doubt contact your lecturer.

The iLecture link may appear as one of the following icons.

Note: Not all lectures are recorded, check with your lecturer first.

To listen or view a recording choose from one of the following options:

Important: If you experience any problems accessing recordings please refer to the System Requirements.

Format	To access
Podcasts	Click link to bring up 'Subscribe to Podcast' window then follow instructions provided.
Streaming	Click on the 'select bandwidth' menu to right of this logo and choose a format suitable for your network connection. (Note: files are 'streamed' and cannot be saved to your hard drive.) Click 'open' button on right Click 'Continue' after reading the Copyright Notice (There may be a slight delay before the lecture begins to play.)
Download	Click on the 'select bandwidth' menu to right of this logo and choose a format suitable for your network connection. (Note: files are 'streamed' and cannot be saved to your hard drive.) Click 'open' button on right Click 'Continue' after reading the Copyright Notice Right click link Download recording format Mozilla/Firebird - select Save link as... Internet Explorer - select Save Target As... Safari - select Download Linked file

The iLecture recording list page displays up to 5 recordings per page, in reverse order of date and time, with the most recent recording appears at the top of the first page. (The date and time and approximate duration appear in the dark grey bar at the top of the recording details.)

Links to other recording pages for this unit appear at the top of the page (A).

Some formats require Quicktime. If you experience any problems accessing your iLecture recordings please refer to the Support link on the left menu. You can also access this link when in DSO by clicking the help & software requirements link (A).
