iLecture recordings require Quicktime 7.

 

Firewall workaround

If you have Quicktime 7 installed but are experiencing problems playing streamed files try changing the streaming transport to port 80.

1. Go to Start Menu and choose Control Panel

2. Double-click the Quicktime icon

3. Click the Advanced tab

4. Change the Transport Setup to Custom

5. Change Transport Protocol to HTTP

6. Select Port ID: 80

7. Click OK

 

 

Setting up a VPN session (Virtual Private Network)

If you are still experiencing problems accessing recordings you may need to set up a Virtual Private Network connection to Deakin's network:
