Emergency Accommodation

What is an emergency?
Unfortunately events that are sometimes out of your control may impact your life, leaving you in an emergency situation. Your housing is one of the things often affected during a time of crisis. If you find yourself experiencing a housing crisis and are in need of emergency or short term accommodation, the Off-Campus Housing Service may be able to assist. Depending on your needs and situation, the service can assist you with securing supported emergency accommodation or a short term accommodation option.
You may find yourself needing emergency accommodation for any of the following reasons:

  1. Eviction
  2. Financial Difficulties
  3. Short-term homelessness
  4. Family and/or relationship problems
  5. Domestic Violence.

If you find yourself in any of these situations or requiring emergency accommodation for any other reason, we urge you to contact our service for further assistance.
The University has additional services that may also be helpful if you are experiencing difficulties like these. These services include:
