Welcome to the Autumn edition of Graduate Gateway, the e-newsletter that brings you up to date with the latest issues around employability for Deakin graduates and developments in the graduate labour market.

In this edition there are some excellent insights into the value of work integrated learning. Additionally, there are articles about two significant new initiatives that will help Deakin graduates prosper in the graduate labour market - the iDeaL resource to enhance proficiency in English and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme which has now been implemented at Deakin. From our own service comes news of a significant new role - that of Senior Careers Educator to provide a much needed resource in developing career planning within the university curriculum and the greatly enhanced functionality of the Jobshop.
