  • Casual
  • Tutoring
  • Graduate Positions
  • Vacation Work Positions
  • Internships
  • Volunteer Work Positions

Deakin University Jobshop receives over 30,000 hits per week, and is a great way to recruit students to meet your recruitment needs. Whether it be seeking a full time graduate, entry level full time positions, part time or casual (e.g. retail or hospitality), or a tutor for your children's educational needs, Jobshop is an efficient and cost effective recruitment process.

Deakin students are based in Melbourne, Geelong and Warrnambool, and are a great recruitment option for rural and regional employers as well as Melbourne-based organisations. Deakin University courses are comprehensive, and ensure that students hit the ground running with practical skills and "can-do" attitude.

Students can also contribute to your organisation in ways other than paid work. Students are keen to test the skills and knowledge acquired through their courses in the workplace, and to gain work experience relevant to their study. Organisations with specific projects to complete could consider offering an internship to Deakin students. Alternatively employers can also offer volunteer work experience which is course-related. Employers wanting to expedite IT projects in particular can also take advantage of the final year IT student projects, where student project groups are assigned to real clients for four to five months to work on a range of projects such as a software artifact in the case of a computer science and software development project, a model in the case of an eSystems project, or a multimedia package in the case of a multimedia project.

If you would like to list a vacancy, log on to Jobshop website to register your details and your work opportunities.
