International traineeships for students studying technical degrees

Deakin University has become and institutional member of IAESTE (the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience). This worldwide organisation offers international traineeships for students studying degrees in science, engineering and related disciplines. Besides offering great opportunities for students, IAESTE aims to promote international understanding and goodwill among students, academic institutions, employers and the wider community.

Locally IAESTE run information sessions for students and will respond to requests from faculty staff to undertake presentations on campus. Benefits include:
