Welcome to the Winter edition of Graduate Gateway, the Deakin University e-newsletter for academic staff and those who recruit Deakin students. The purpose of this newsletter is to help us understand the perspectives of those involved in assisting students enter the graduate labour market - university staff, employers and most importantly of all, the students themselves. This edition contains articles that certainly meet that goal. From the work being done at Deakin to widen participation in higher education, insights from students who have "value added" to their studies to employers views on the value of student attributes and much more.
