The Big Idea

Applications Now Open

A social enterprise planning competition between university students around the country, the Big Idea competition invites students to develop a concept and business plan that might become the next 'Big Issue', and potentially change the lives of thousands of disadvantaged Australians around the country.

Whitehorse Tertiary Business Skills Program

Hosted by Whitehorse Council's Business and Economic Development Unit, the program is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate business students from Deakin Burwood Campus who are looking to apply their knowledge in the local business environment. Business Experience Simulation - MBA (I) Students

2016 ACME Graduate Training Program

The ACME Graduate Training program is a new Deakin Business School initiative designed specifically for developing discipline related skills within the context of a realistic business experience. Students then undertake a real-world business problem which has been developed by an experienced industry professional.

How to Enrol

Students can self-enrol in MWL701 if choosing to do the ACME program.

Enrol via Student connect in the usual manner, and select unit class 'WIL-SIM' and mode 'ON'.

Closing Date for T2 - Wednesday 13th July

ATTENDANCE Students must attend on-campus one day per week in a simulated business setting, and undertake organisational tasks set by a board of management or corporate board, to whom you will present your findings or solutions at the end of the program.
