Deakin goes global for Pako Festa. Walk with Deakin in this year's Pako Festa parade on Saturday 28 Feb, and wear national costume or dress in white. Pako Festa is Geelong's premier multicultural event and the largest in the Southern hemisphere!

Pride March celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2015. Come and join over 100 groups and individuals as we march down Fitzroy St in St Kilda. All the colour and excitement you have come to expect from Pride March Victoria with the added flavour this special anniversary celebration. See the original marchers lead us out again and celebrate our first timers.

Deakin will once again be participating, it would be great to see as many of you there as possible.

Assembly: from 1 pm at cnr Lakeside Dr & Fitzroy St
March commences: 2 pm
After march festivities: till 7pm in Catani Gardens at completion of the march.

DUSA is offering a free breakfast every Wednesday during T3 to members. Located outside DUSA's home in Building A. Come along and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Lunar New Year Celebration

Join us from 12-2 pm to celebrate Lunar New Year this year! Enjoy the magnificent Lion Dance performance and many activities including Fortune Teller, Chinese Name Writing, Dice Game, Calligraphy,
Mah-Jong, Laughing Buddha, Wishing Tree, and exotic Asian snacks! Followed by free movie – Kung Fu Panda 2 at LT1a starting at 2 pm!

28 Feb International Orientation

Parade with Deakin at Pako Festa

Deakin goes global for Pako Festa.   Experience the world in a day!

Wear national costume or dress in white.Pako Festa is Geelong's premier multicultural event and the largest in the Southern hemisphere!

Walk with Deakin in this year's Pako Festa parade on Saturday 28 Feb followed by access to Deakin's VIP mini marquee in Pakington St for refreshments.

Take the opportunity to celebrate your heritage by wearing a traditional costume or something that represents your culture while parading with Deakin staff, students, friends and Alumni.

We will also be promoting and taking registrations for Deakin YMCA's Colour Me Rad Run to be held March 14.  If you choose to wear washable whites we will 'Colour You Rad'.

We will be giving away plenty of Deakin Worldly fun stuff to the crowds lining the streets so come and help celebrate being 'Worldly'.

Color Me Rad 5K

Color Me Rad is a 5km fun run, that is actually really fun! Each section of the run adds a new explosion of colour to your clean, painter's palate making you into a running work of art. You'll cross the finish line into a final blitzkrieg of colour.

Where: Deakin University, Waurn Ponds Campus.
Cost:    $50
