Day Month Week Event
9 Mar Week 1

International Women's Day

International Women's Day is celebrated around the world on 8 March. The event recognises inspirational women and their political and social achievements, as well as ongoing challenges to achieve gender equality.

At Deakin, we also have a tradition of celebrating with a morning tea event, where all students and staff are invited (whether you are women or men).

This year, the events will happen at all campuses on Monday 9 March from 10.30 am to 12 pm.  So if you're available on that first Monday of T1 and you'd like to join other students and staff to mingle and to hear an inspiring keynote by Dr Jennifer Whelan, please register your attendance.

Wed Mar Weekly
