Desire2Learn Binder App

Mobile Supported

This app allows you to download resources to your tablets for offline viewing. You are also able to select Send to Binder from the CloudDeakin environment to have resources sent to the app for offline viewing.

Get started with Binder

Step 1: Download the Binder app from the AppStore, Google play or use the Binder for Web.
Step 2: Create a Desire2Learn EduDentity account.
Note: You can sign in using your Facebook account.
Step 3: Launch the app.

Create a connection

  1. Login using your EduDentity or Facebook account.
  2. Tap the + icon and select Add Document.
  3. At the Enter Web Address field, enter
  4. Tap Connect.
  5. Enter your Deakin username and password.
  6. Tap Sign In.
  7. All the unit sites that you have access to will be listed.

Download a document

  1. Navigate to the topic that you wish to download.
  2. Select the document.
  3. Tap Import.
  4. Navigate to the Collections you wish to import then tap Import Here.
  5. Tap Import Documents to confirm selection.
  6. The files that you have downloaded should be listed.
