Want to feel more confident about your writing? Confused about how to reference? Worried about preparing for exams? Attend a Study Skills workshop.
Workshop activities are practical and based on your own needs. To get the most out of the workshops browse the pre-workshop reading materials. On the day, bring your unit guide to the workshop and be ready to discuss an assignment you are currently working on.
Workshops are suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students and held at all campuses and online throughout each trimester.

Thinking about assessments and assignments
Workshops are interactive and provide opportunities to meet Study Skills Advisers and other students, and to share ideas and discuss strategies for improvement. Key topics include:

- Understanding the unit guide
- Researching for your assignment
- Reading and note taking
- Critical thinking
- Time management
This workshop will outline strategies to prepare and review your Trimester 3 work for exams. It will cover the following topics:
- Preparing to take exams
- Managing your time in exams
