International HDR Scholarships round closing soon
International Postgraduate Research Scholarships are funded by the Australian Government and awarded to international students wishing to undertake a research degree at Deakin University.
Deakin is a research-driven institution attracting millions of dollars in grants each year, and boasts numerous national and international partnerships and excellent research facilities. Deakin currently has around 1500 higher degree by research candidates - smart people making the most of our excellent facilities, partnerships, strategic research centres and excellent reputation.
Students undertake research degree programs for various reasons. They have a burning intellectual curiosity about something, or wish to advance their career and increase their employability and earning capacity. A large group of Deakin researchers are international students, who can benefit from scholarships funded by the Australian Government.
The International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) offer value and benefit for students wishing to undertake a research degree at Deakin, and assist them through their journey of discovery. Thanks to IPRS, research students can fully concentrate on their studies as a stipend of A$25,392 per annum is provided, together with tuition fee coverage and health insurance.
