Change 100 Lives First in Family Scholarship
The Change 100 Lives First in Family Scholarship provide support to those who are the first in their family to reach university, helping to break the cycle and elevating their educational aspirations.

Cash payment of $4000 per year

Your application will be assessed and ranked based on the information you provide in your application and supporting documentation.
The scholarship is subject to satisfactory academic performance. You must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 throughout your studies.
Successful recipients will be required to write a yearly statement highlighting the impact receiving this support has had on them personally and on their studies during the year.
|Opening and closing dates|
Applications for Trimester 1 2016 open 3 August 2015.
VTAC scholarship applications close 16 October 2015 at 5pm.
All other applications close: 7 January 2016 at 5pm.
|How to apply|
2016 VTAC course applicants
If you are applying for a place at Deakin University in Trimester 1 2016 via VTAC you must complete a VTAC Scholarships Application.
All other applicants
Apply online via the Deakin Course and Scholarship Applicant Portal.
As part of the application process you will also be required to provide supporting documentation. You must email your supporting documents with your applicant ID number in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than the closing date of the scholarship if you are applying for a scholarship directly through Deakin University.
