The Christopher Morton Memorial Scholarship
The Christopher Morton Memorial Scholarship aims to provide an opportunity for a second year student, to study a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) degree at Deakin University's Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds.
Cash payment up to $2000 for one year.
Number to allocate
To apply for this scholarship you must be:
- an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- a second year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) at Deakin University's Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds in a Commonwealth Supported Place
- either a recipient of a Centrelink benefit or can demonstrate that you have a personal or family taxable income under the HECS-HELP repayment threshold.
Preference will be given to students enrolled in the civil stream of the Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Applicants can apply directly to Deakin University via the Deakin Course and Scholarship Applicant Portal.
As part of the application process you will also be required to provide supporting documentation. You should upload your supporting documentation as part of the online application process no later than the closing date of the scholarship. Late documentation will not be accepted.
